InterWrite MeetingPad™

InterWrite MeetingPad is the first Bluetooth wireless tablet on the market that allows remote wireless mouse operation of a computer and offers a writing surface. Commonly used with computer and LCD/DLP projector, the MeetingPads cordless pen acts as a wireless mouse with buttons for left and right clicking to control any software program from anywhere in the room. Also, when used with InterWrite software, MeetingPad allows highlighting, markup and annotation over any screen image with digital ink and hand writing of notes for electronic whiteboarding.

Markup and hand write notes on PowerPoint, Word and Excel documents, CAD drawing files, web site pages or any other files or documents, all from the MeetingPad from anywhere in the room. And with Bluetooth technology, up to 7 MeetingPads can be connected at the same time to collaborate on the same document.

How the MeetingPad Works
The MeetingPad contains an electronic grid that senses the location of its cordless pen on its surface. This coordinate information is transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth technology to the associated Bluetooth enabled computer. As you move the pen on MeetingPad's surface, the mouse cursor is moved on the computer. The MeetingPad combined with InterWrite software allows:

Wireless mouse computer control from up to 30 feet
Handwriting and saving of notes electronically
Highlighting, markup and annotating of any screen image projected on any surface from an attached LCD/DLP computer projector

MeetingPad, MeetingPad Cordless Pen, InterWrite Software, Computer, LCD/DLP Projector, Bluetooth Hub or Bluetooth PCMCIA card for laptop computers.

Standard Features

Digitizing Technology  The InterWrite MeetingPad utilizes patented electromagnetic digitizing technology which delivers high resolution (1,000 lines per inch), providing superior performance for fine annotations and handwriting recognition and fast tracking speed.

Software Standard as part of the InterWrite MeetingPad, is an extremely intuitive and easy to use annotation program that can be used to annotate, highlight or make notes over any Windows application. You can even save and print or e-mail your annotations and notes to participants after the meeting, to make sure everyone stays on the same page. InterWrite Software is compatible with Windows 98, 2000, NT, ME and XP.

Electronic Pen A cordless electronic pen provides full mouse capability (left and right click, drag and drop, etc.) batteries provided.

Computer Connection A 15' Universal Serial Bus (USB) is included with Model 100. Model 300 includes a wireless Bluetooth™ connection.

Power Supply A power supply with a 10' cord is included with Model 300 for recharging.

Optional Accessories

Bluetooth Hub Available as either a PCMCIA card or a USB dongle, the Bluetooth Hub is an antenna that connects to your PC and provides wireless connectivity between the PC and the InterWrite MeetingPad (Model 300 only) as well as the MeetingBoard (Bluetooth models only).
