MUS is a Windows software program designed specifically for MicroScribe G2 digitizers. MUS allows you to digitize 3D x, y, z coordinates directly into any Windows based program including CAD and CAD/CAM applications. MUS works by emulating command line or input box keyboard entry.

MUS Digitizing Functions

• Format string library Format strings can be defined and saved; the format strings control the x, y, z coordinate format entering the CAD, or CAD/CAM program being used.

• Reference frame Calibration function allows you to define a coordinate system with the MicroScribe for part to computer model realignment.

• Drawing functions Use any drawing functions in the base application being used; create points, lines, curves, arcs, surfaces and solids.

• Auto plot Allows drawing of points with the MicroScribe along a specified distance or time interval.

• Scan planes Allows digitizing of data on 2D planes at specified intervals.

• Export file formats No data exporting or importing required. MUS allows digitizing of data directly into whatever application is being used.
